Box Take-Back Program
GSB will pick up cardboard boxes from Sacramento and most cities in the nine county SF Bay Area and reuse them for customer orders throughout Northern California.
As a green business, we are constantly seeking creative ways to do more with fewer natural resources. Last year, Give Something Back used nearly 48 tons of cardboard boxes made from 60% recycled content. That’s a lot of boxes – not to mention trees, energy, CO2 and waste.
Boxes have feelings too. They take pride in protecting your products and ensuring on time delivery. Give them a second chance with the Box Take-Back Program
Preparing your Give Something Back boxes for pick up:
- Please leave your used GSB boxes intact, like the picture.
- Designate a pick-up spot and tell your driver. We will do our best to pick up boxes when orders are delivered.
- For larger pick-ups of more than 10 boxes, please notify us when you order by fax or phone. For online ordering, include a note in the “delivery instructions” field of the order form.
- Give Something Back will accept flattened boxes too. These boxes will be recycled.
- Boxes that do not pass our warehouse manager's "tough test" will be recycled.
