Our do-gooding, go-getting culture includes FUN events like these that keep our employees motivated and make it worthwhile for the Good People of Give Something Back (GPOGSB) to work so hard for the company they love!
Annual Donation Celebration: Once a year, GSB throws a party to celebrate the nonprofits that were chosen to receive donations through the ballot processes. The event also celebrates the employees whose hard work generated the profits.
Employee Appreciation Holiday Luncheon Cruise: All employees are treated to a 3-hour luncheon cruise on the beautiful San Francisco Bay. A customary part of the event is the company’s appreciation cash gift, lots of raffle prizes, great food and music.
HQ Haunting: Halloween is more entertaining than spooky at this annual event. Desk-top trick or treating, costumes and activities provide fun for our employees, families, and friends.
Culture Committees: These employee-led groups volunteer their time to plan these celebratory events and make GSB a fun place to work.
- Summer Festivus: Our annual summer event features food, talent, prizes, and of lots of camaraderie. A water balloon toss aimed at our founders is the highlight of the day.
- GSB Day at the Ball Game: Tailgating, hotdogs, hamburgers and drinks, peanuts and an evening of baseball - whether the A’s win or lose, the GPOGSB win!
- GSB Spirit Parties: End of the month pizza, Cinco de Mayo, Thanksgiving, birthday and just-because potlucks, summer Friday parking lot barbecues, hot summer day ice-cream socials and baby showers keep us connected as team members and friends.
